so we did it… two weeks in Jozi.. 2 weeks of drawing pictures, finding venue’s, spending money, fixing venue, drinking, finding money, losing patience, dancing badly, passing out, committing fraud, waking up, making friends, losing friends, all in preparation and anticipation of playing with pens - our exhibition and book thing in melville…
it went a little something like this.
Jungle Rumble–- - the Jozi’s independent fashion showcase, held at the nike gallery on 4th - one week before our exhibition.
rob and louis gosset jnr - it was the 6th jungle rumble
airbrushed custom shirts, made live… hmm
the best caps I’ve seen in a minute
crowd control, jungle rumble was packed…
the next day was madiba’s birthday, every one was supposed to do something productive for 67 min. we did this
the next week was work, work, work.
mafuta grafting.
the day before the exhibition we had to make clean, scrubbing like TLC.
shouts to Carla and Andile, without their minds and bodies we’d be nowhere - and andiles mom for lending us a mop.
keeping it real and lumo green, mkay fresh from the gallery on 4th came through to keep us company
drawing, sticking, working
